Spiritual growth is not an instantaneous achievement but a lifelong process of “learning Christ”—growing in our understanding of who Jesus is, what He has accomplished for us, and how His life is expressed through us. Because Jesus is the true measure of maturity, spiritual growth is demonstrated through steadfast faith, unity within the body of Christ, renewed thinking, and agape love in action. This transformation does not originate in human effort alone, but in our union with Christ and the empowering grace of the indwelling Holy Spirit.

The sermon further emphasizes that spiritual maturity becomes visible in the way believers respond to everyday situations. As we cooperate with the Holy Spirit, our attitudes, words, habits, and emotional reactions increasingly reflect the truth, kindness, forgiveness, and grace of Jesus. Maturity does not mean that believers never experience anger, make mistakes, or require correction; rather, it means learning to submit those experiences to the loving influence of the Holy Spirit. Ultimately, we “learn Christ” not through condemnation or religious conformity, but through truth spoken in love, the patient encouragement of other believers, and the faithful Fathering of God—until the Jesus who lives within us can be clearly seen through us.

In “Following Heaven’s Flight Plan—Part 2,” listeners will discover through the lives of Moses and Joseph that unexpected delays, painful detours, and difficult seasons do not mean God has abandoned them or withdrawn His favor. What may appear to be lost time or a canceled purpose can instead be divine preparation, as God’s exceptional grace remains constant through every changing circumstance. Although we see only the next step, God sees the entire journey and faithfully directs us toward His intended destination.

The sermon ultimately points listeners to Jesus Christ and the cross—the fullest expression of heaven’s redemptive plan and the unchanging proof of the Father’s love. Because Christ entered the intersection between sinful humanity and a holy God, believers can trust that no hardship is beyond His sight and no season is wasted in His hands. Through faith in Jesus Christ, believers are born into one spiritual family under one heavenly Father, sharing a new identity and divine nature expressed through self-sacrificing love. Regardless of background, status, or calling, every believer is an equal member of Christ’s body and is therefore called to preserve unity, walk in peace, and treat others with humility, patience, gentleness, and love.

God does not leave His children spiritually immature; through Christ, He gives grace and diverse ministry gifts to equip every believer for service and build up the church. As each member cooperates with the Holy Spirit, receives sound teaching, and faithfully uses their gifts, the whole body grows toward Christlike maturity—becoming steadfast in truth, united in faith, and increasingly perfected in love.

The central message of "No Worries for the Sons of God" is that believers have been delivered from the anxiety, striving, and uncertainty of the Old Covenant because, through Jesus Christ, they have been fully adopted as sons and daughters of God and clothed with His righteousness. Since Christ has fulfilled the law and freely bestowed upon us the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, we no longer live as servants attempting to earn God's favor but as beloved heirs who rest in the Father's provision.

As our minds are continually renewed by the Holy Spirit and anchored in the finished work of Christ, fear, worry, and self-effort give way to peace, joy, and confident expectation. The Christian life is therefore not sustained by human striving but by continually choosing to set our thoughts on heavenly realities, trusting the Father's faithfulness, and reigning in life through the grace and righteousness that are ours in Christ Jesus.

This sermon beautifully captures one of the great transitions in the book of Ephesians: chapters 1–3 reveal who we are because of Christ's finished work, while chapter 4 begins to show what that new identity naturally looks like in daily life. The emphasis is not on striving to become worthy, but on living in a manner that reflects the immeasurable love, unity, and new life that God has already given us in Christ. Because every believer has been equally loved, equally accepted, equally forgiven, and equally united to Christ through the Holy Spirit, there is no room for superiority, division, or prejudice within the family of God. 

Paul's appeal to "walk worthy" is therefore an invitation to express outwardly what God has already accomplished inwardly. As recipients of the Father's agape love, believers are called to demonstrate that same self-sacrificing love through humility, gentleness, patience, peace, and unwavering unity. The church is one body, animated by one Spirit, sharing one hope, one faith, one Lord, one baptism, and one Father. When we understand our shared identity in Christ, love ceases to be merely an ideal and becomes the visible evidence of the gospel at work within us. Walking worthy is not earning God's approval—it is allowing the reality of our union with Christ to be seen through lives that display the unifying, transforming love of our Heavenly Father.

At first glance, Joseph's dreams appear to be the story of one young man destined for greatness. But beneath the surface lies something infinitely greater. Joseph was never the destination—he was the signpost. His life points us to Jesus Christ, the Beloved Son, through whom God preserved His eternal dream of redemption. Throughout this message, we'll discover two competing systems that have echoed throughout Scripture from Genesis to Revelation: the striving of the flesh and the sufficiency of the Spirit; the righteousness sought through human effort and the righteousness freely given through grace.

Joseph teaches us that God's purposes cannot be thwarted by rejection, betrayal, suffering, or delay because what God preserves, no man can destroy. Ultimately, the dream God preserved was never merely Joseph's promotion—it was Christ's exaltation. And because that dream reached its fulfillment at the cross when Jesus declared, "It is finished," we no longer strive to accomplish what God has already completed. We simply rest in His finished work, rejoice in His uncommon favor, and trust the unchanging grace of the God who always preserves His promises.

The Father's love is the foundation, the strength, and the defining characteristic of His supernatural family. As we grow in the revelation of Christ's immeasurable love for us, we become rooted in our identity as God's beloved children and are empowered to reflect that same love to one another and to the world.

Through the story of Joseph's robe, the restoration of the prodigal son, and the fulfillment of Old Testament types and shadows in Jesus Christ, Scripture reveals that God does not merely remove our shame, guilt, and condemnation—He displaces them with something infinitely greater: the gift of His Son and the robe of His righteousness. The robe was never a reward for human performance but a declaration of the Father's love, acceptance, and covenant relationship. As the Law gave way to the Substance, Jesus fulfilled every shadow through His finished work, clothing all who believe in a garment of salvation and a robe of righteousness; a righteousness we could never earn, establishing forever that our identity rests not in our achievements, but in the Father's grace and the finished work of Christ.

The great mystery of the gospel is not merely that God saves sinners, but that through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, He has formed one new spiritual family in which every believer stands on equal ground before the Father. The dividing walls of race, heritage, status, and religious privilege have been torn down, and all who are in Christ have become equally loved, equally valued, equally favored, and equally accepted members of God's household. This revelation of grace, hidden for ages and revealed through the apostles, invites every believer to live with confidence, bold access to the Father, and unwavering trust that God is able to turn even life's hardest circumstances into opportunities for His glory and our good.

Through this message, Paul speaks chiefly to the Gentile believers, though the Jewish believers are included as well, for both groups needed to grasp the profound truth that they now stood on equal footing as sons of God through faith in Christ.

Through today’s message, we discover that God’s promises are not canceled or made void by valleys, delays, betrayals, or suffering, but are often fulfilled in the midst of them. Joseph’s journey from pet to pit, from pit to palace, from palace to prison, and from prison to prime minister reveals that God remained faithful in every season, using even what was meant for evil to accomplish a greater purpose.

Through the gifts we have received by grace through faith in Christ Jesus, we make room for others. None of our resources—time, treasure, or talent—belongs solely to us. We are stewards of every gift God has entrusted to our care.

Christ makes appointments on our calendars. Christ writes checks from our checkbooks. Christ extends our hearts to those in need. His love pulses through our unique personalities so that His compassion, wisdom, and power are revealed through our everyday availability.

He desires to express the kingdom of heaven through us. Therefore, we yield all we possess to Him and allow His love to flow through the gifts that make room for others and bring them into the presence of the King. Yet every act of generosity and every gifting—even miracles—begins with knowing how fully forgiven we are in Christ.

Through this message, Valeri helps us see that God’s plan of redemption also includes the unity of the body of Christ. Through the redemption Jesus purchased for us all, each believer has become One with God, and believers are also connected to one another. We are now members of the same family and the same spiritual body. We do not get to decide who is or is not part of our spiritual family, nor do we get to decide that anyone has seniority or supremacy over others in the family.

 

 

 

Resurrection isn’t only a future hope—it’s a present reality. Even the promise of heaven, as glorious as it is, cannot satisfy the deepest longing of the human heart—we need Jesus now. He is not merely our future hope; He is our life today.

The cross marked the sunset on our sin, but the resurrection declared the sunrise of eternal life. And eternal life is not merely a duration of time—it is knowing Christ and walking in the power of His resurrection.

So, when we face grief, struggle, or temptation, we do so with confident expectation, anchored in His finished work. The tomb is empty. Our sin debt is gone—paid in full. The dawn of “It is finished” has risen in the heart of every believer.

In this teaching, Pastor Valeri addresses lingering “fairy tales” that blur the gospel, offering a clear path back to the finished work of Christ. As she and her husband, Mark, field questions, particularly from young believers, who’ve heard grace alongside confusing add-ons, she anchors listeners in what Scripture truly declares about our once-for-all forgiveness and unshakable salvation that comes solely by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our baseline isn’t found in the size of our faith but in the size of our God. Faith is effective because God is faithful. And when our faith compass is set to true north, which is the finished work of Christ, we’ll navigate our Christian walk with confidence. 

Through this message, Pastor Valeri reveals where the fullness of Christ can be found; and that is... in His body, the Church.

The Apostle Paul worked relentlessly to destroy the fairy tales that threatened to destroy the true identity of God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. A fairy tale that claimed the cross of Christ was completely unnecessary and, in fact, powerless to affect any salvation, because humanity never needed salvation; they only needed to remember their true divine origin.

Throughout this message, Pastor Valeri masterfully distinguishes the difference between a fairy tale and faith in God through Jesus Christ. 

Faith is agreement with God. But if we don’t meditate on the scriptures through the lens of the new covenant, how can we agree with His desires? Faith is trusting in God’s soft-spoken “yes” more than our ear-drum-shattering circumstances. Faith rests in Jesus’ finished work rather than in self-effort. Faith just says “yes” to what He has already done and to who He is in us.

I grew up in a Pentecostal church; therefore, I was taught to shout at everything. We shouted at demons, we shouted at sickness and disease, we shouted when praying, and we shouted our way through every sermon. But through the revelation of the finished work of Jesus Christ, I learned that decibels were not my key to victory; it was faith. The faith that is empowered by grace. I’m talking about the faith that is especially expressed through the “soft-spoken yes.”

God is our inheritance and we are His. He is our precious possession, and we are His precious possession, through the redemption that Christ has provided. By faith in Christ, we are joined to Christ, and we have received the restoration of God's original plan for us; that we would be Sons and Daughters of God who are learning to rule and reign on earth through the indwelling Holy Spirit, who is Himself the evidence that we are God's precious possession.

The truth be told, many spend more time determining which boots to wear than which fruits to wear. Faith is both a fruit and a gift of the Spirit. Many believers have been taught that faith is strengthened by repetition, but that’s not true. If that were so, then the Pharisees and religious leaders would’ve been full of faith because they were known for repetition. Neither is faith strengthened by rituals, rule-keeping, or by chasing emotional highs. Faith is strengthened by one means—through revelation—the revelation of what Jesus has already finished on our behalf. 

As members of God's family, we need to understand who God, our Father, really is, and what He's really like. We also need to understand how He deals with believers under the New Covenant of Grace... so that we can also understand who He has made us to be, and how He has called and empowered us as believers to live.

Believers were designed to receive, enjoy, and to manifest our Heavenly Father's grace. God's grace is His absolutely free lovingkindness. It's also understood to be God's unmerited favor. In other words, He delights to show us His goodness and favor just because He is good and because He loves us. We don't earn God's favor by being good; He simply chooses to favor us because of His great love for us.

Meaningful faith is not authenticated by how quickly we calm life’s storms or see the desires of our hearts become a reality. Meaningful faith can be powerful and effective, inspiring believers to find purpose and strength. The revelation of Christ's love empowers meaningful faith, and this faith is not diminished even amid turbulence.

However, if faith lets go of the hand of love, if it ceases to be love’s companion, if it operates independently of love, it becomes nothing and will be barren of true purpose. Without love, faith loses its heart and direction, becoming a hollow exercise rather than a life-giving force that reflects God's true nature and intentions. The believer’s ultimate goal is not great faith; it’s love. Knowing how loved we are by the Father, ignites our love for others.

Like many believers today, the Ephesians had not come to fully understand what actually happened to them when they believed into Jesus. When we accepted Jesus as our Savior, we became One with Him in our spirit. So, we believed…into Him, not just on Him, which is part of what the Apostle Paul is trying to impart to the church: The IN HIM Realities of the New Covenant.

Jesus serves as our ultimate spiritual rescuer, offering the 'Continual Presence of Righteousness' through His life-giving words and actions. Whether it was His profound conversation with Nicodemus about being born again or His empowering 'breath' upon His disciples, Jesus invigorates lifeless humanity with grace and truth.  

An authentic apostle does not live according to how he feels in the natural realm. It’s an adolescent that makes decisions based on how they feel, not an authentic apostle. An authentic apostle makes decisions based on what God has revealed to him. And so, it was with the apostle Paul.

The apostle Paul felt weak and helpless through much of his ministry because of all the harsh treatment and persecution he had to endure. But none of his physical or emotional discomfort could force him to stop preaching the gospel: of grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Nor could it detour him from providing loving fatherly correction to his adolescent-like baby believers.

To the amazement of the Corinthians, the Apostle Paul boasted in chapter 11 of all his various sufferings and hardships. He boasted of all the painful persecution that he had endured in his physical and emotional natural man, not so he would be thought of as strong, or crazy, but so he could actually boast about the power and strength of God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ through the indwelling Holy Spirit. His boast was always in His God and never in his flesh.  And so, he continues with this same theme of boasting in the Lord in chapter 12.

Legalism is one of the greatest enemies of faith because it shifts the focus from trusting in God’s grace to relying on human effort and rules. Legalism emphasizes human effort and rule-keeping as the safety net for righteousness and acceptance with God. But believers don’t need a safety net. We have everything we need for life and godliness. Legalism undermines grace by suggesting that we need to add our own works to Christ’s finished work. Legalism often results in feelings of condemnation. Why? Because it sets an impossible standard of perfection. This is why grace through faith is sufficient to forgive all sins: past, present, and future.

Through this Christmas message, Pastor Mark draws all eyes not only to the birth of Christ Jesus, but the unwrapping of His bride through His death, burial, and resurrection. Pastor Mark reminds us that although many things compete for our eyes; none are more important than Jesus and His finished work.

 

Through this message, the Apostle Paul continues to answer some of the accusations the false apostles were continuing to bring against him, and he does this by meeting his baby Corinthian believers where they are, in their understanding, by choosing to boast about himself in a way similar to how the false apostles were boasting about themselves.

But the Apostle Paul's boasting was really very different from theirs. Theirs was all superficial self-aggrandizement. They were very impressed with themselves, calling themselves, super-apostles; but the Apostle Paul was not impressed with himself. Instead, he was impressed with Jesus and the power of the gospel of grace.

Through this message, Paul addresses the false teachers and the small remnant of believers who were still undiscerning regarding who was the real apostle to the gentiles.

Was it the Apostle Paul, or was it one of the Jewish teachers from Jerusalem? Was it the one who was first to bring them the gospel of grace, or was it the ones who had infiltrated the Corinthian church with claims of superiority due to their entertaining speaking ability and their impressive physical appearance? 

God’s kingdom transcends all constraints. As the supreme spiritual being and creator, He is not dependent on any of the commodities, such as time, space, and matter. He doesn’t need more time, or more space, and He can work with nothing. His existence is eternal, exceeding the limitations of the material universe. God is not demanding our time. He is not asserting that we make space for Him, nor is He interested in our substance. He’s looking for the faith that transcends natural thinking. The question is: Will we trust Him?

The motivation of our heart is what matters to our Heavenly Father. Are we giving to give, or are we giving to get? Are we giving to honor the leading of the Holy Spirit, or are we giving to make ourselves look good to God or others? Are we giving to help others in ministry or in necessities, or are we giving to make sure God doesn't cause our car or refrigerator to break down? God does not punish His kids for not giving financially into an offering plate, but neither can He bless and increase us the way He would like to, if we are operating from a heart of stinginess or greediness. 

Obedience is not the cornerstone, nor should it be the primary goal for a new covenant believer. What is the believer's goal? In a perfect world, we would all end up with the same answer. Unfortunately, we don’t live in a perfect world, and the church doesn’t teach a perfect doctrine; therefore, our answers are all over the board. Jesus is our ultimate goal. Jesus is the cornerstone, and a relationship with Him should be the ultimate objective of the believer. Obedience and the fulfillment of God’s divine promises are the offspring of grace and faith. 

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval (Romans 14:17-18). Knowing these truths brings about the most intense joy.

The Apostle Paul reminded the Corinthian baby believers about a promise they had previously made, to participate in a substantial collection for the poor believers in Jerusalem, and then he encouraged them to prepare the offering in advance of him and his ministry team coming to collect it. But the Apostle Paul also used this situation as an opportunity to continue to teach his spiritual children about the seriousness, and the blessedness of giving from a heart of agape-love, which is self-sacrificing-love. 

The Faith that Grace Dilates - The word “dilate” means to enlarge or to increase in size. Faith is not enlarged through repetitious prayers, barking orders, or even through obedience. Faith is enlarged when it looks into the eyes of grace. Enlarged faith commences, increases, and crescendos in the revelation of grace. This ever-increasing supply of grace and faith has been made available for all.

In 2nd Corinthians, Chapter 7, the Apostle Paul continues to disclose his own heart to the Corinthians in hopes that those who still have doubts about him will give up the lies they have believed about him and his gospel and return to the place of acceptance and fellowship that they enjoyed previously. Paul begins to reveal what is in his heart, which is: his great regard, or great love for the Corinthian baby believers, his great relief over their change of heart, his great momentary regret for sending them the severe letter, and his great rejoicing at the news of their change of heart towards him.

The grace of happily ever after is rooted in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Believers have been washed, perfumed, and clothed in the wedding attire of righteousness. The concept of "happily ever after" is a common desire; everybody wants one. We find the happily ever after in every romance book, every Hallmark movie, and in every Cinderella-type fairy tale. Everyone loves a happily ever after. Jesus is the Father’s happily ever after.
